During an appearance on Appetite for Distortion, The Doors drummer John Densmore talked about the band's late frontman Jim Morrison, while also looking back on the band's 2000 performance with Stone Temple Pilots' Scott Weiland on vocals as part of the VH1 Storytellers show.

When the interviewer said, "After all these years, what feeling do you get talking about Jim now? Do you still feel like he's here? Has it waned on you after all these years? How do you feel about your friend all these years later still writing about him?"
